Water is an essential part of our survival, but let’s be honest it can be a bit bland and boring. Infused waters are a great way to spice up your water and avoid reaching for juices or sodas which can actually dehydrate you. Consistent consumption of infused water can release toxins, reduce muscle fatigue and give your body natural energy. These are some of our favorite combinations that taste delicious & provide your body with healthy nutrients. For all recipes, we recommend pouring your water first then adding the fruit & using a wooden spoon or muddler to release the flavor. Allow the water to sit for a few hours prior to drinking.
Lemon Mint
This is our go to infused water at the spa. It’s simple, refreshing and light. Lemon supports and aids digestion while mint adds a light herbal taste
- 1/2 lemon (sliced and halved)
- A few mint leaves
Cucumber Lemon Cilantro
This is a step up from the previous recipe. Cucumbers prevent water retention and has powerful anti-inflammatory properties and cilantro is full of antioxidants.
- 1/2 lemon (sliced and halved)
- 1/4 cucumber (sliced and halved)
- A few cilantro sprigs
Mango Ginger
This metabolism boosting pair makes the perfect detox water. Ginger is a natural pain reliever & digestive aid. Mango is full of antioxidants and helps keep skin clear.
- 2-4 slices of ginger (peeled)
- Half a mango (cubed)
